ZT-500EX
The new range of UV/IR and Triple IR Flame Detectors detect fuel and gas fires at long distances with the highest immunity to false alarms.
The ZT-30P and the ZT-20EX can detect a 0.1m2 gasoline pan fire at 30m in less than 5 seconds. The ZT-500EX can detect the same fire at 65m in less than 5 seconds.
New features include:
- RS484/RS232 compatabilities for digital communications
- Lower power requirements
- A compact, lighter design
ZT-20EX and ZT-500EX series are approved to ATEX by DNV for explosion-proof.

PERFORMANCE
Zeta Flame Detectors: Precision Meets Reliability
Zeta flame detectors stand out in the fire safety field with their robust performance and stringent conformity to global standards.
Engineered in the UK by Zeta Alarms Limited, these detectors meet the rigorous requirements of EN54 Part 10 for point-type flame detection and are tested for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
-
Diverse Sensor Options
- ZT-30P: Triple IR flame detection for high immunity to false alarms.
- ZT-20EX: UV/IR sensing with ATEX approval for hazardous zones.
- ZT-500EX: Heavy-duty triple IR, also ATEX certified for explosive atmospheres.
-
Global Compliance & Reliability
- EMC, RoHS, and LVD directives for European Union safety.
- Conformance with BS EN standards for emissions and immunity ensures operation under tough conditions.
-
Adaptability
-
Ideal for oil and gas,Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), manufacturing, transport hubs, and power stations.
- High sensitivity and environmental resilience make them suited for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Zeta’s rigorous design standards and certified reliability give them an edge over generic brands that may offer detection features without full international conformity—especially in ATEX-certified zones where failure isn’t an option.
